Appointments
When scheduling an appointment, we try our best to accommodate our patients as much as possible. We have found that children with extensive dental work or preschool children are better to be seen early in the morning when they are fresher and can have a more positive experience. Some appointments may require your child to miss some school; however, these are considered excused absences. With continued care, appointments during school can be kept to a minimum.
Due to the limited space in our schedule and the need to provide timely service to all of our patients it is very important that you keep your scheduled appointments. It is understandable that occasionally you may need to reschedule due to emergency or illness. We ask only that you give us the courtesy of 24 hour notice so that we will have the opportunity to use your appointed time to provide treatment for others in need. If you cancel your appointment without 24 hour notice or if you “No Show” for your appointment, then you will be required to pay a $75 non-refundable treatment fee prior to scheduling another appointment. If you come in for this second appointment this fee will be applied to the cost of any treatment rendered at that time. If you do not come in for this second appointment or if you cancel again without notice then this money will be retained as a “missed appointment fee”.
Financial/Insurance
Your child’s treatment plan will include a breakdown of all applicable fees. We will inform you of all costs prior to the start of treatment. Unless you have made special arrangements with our financial coordinator, full payment is expected at the time service is rendered. Visa, MasterCard, check and cash payments are accepted. Financing options are available through CareCredit upon approval.
The parent or guardian who brings the child to our office is responsible for payment in full. All statements will be sent to this individual. We will not bill a third party other than insurance companies.
As a courtesy to our patients we will gladly process your insurance for you, understanding that the agreement you have with your insurance company is between you and them. With this in mind we do require your estimated portion at the time of your child’s visit. Our office is a preferred provider for United Concordia, TRICARE Dental Plan, Cigna and Delta Dental. We will fully attempt to help you receive full insurance benefits. However, you are personally responsible for your account, and we encourage you to contact us if your policy has not paid within 30 days.
