Meet the Dentists

Dr. Derek Kirkham

A native of Bountiful, Utah, Dr. Kirkham earned his bachelor's degree at Brigham Young University and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. He completed a one year general dentistry residency at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, then served two years as a general dentist at Ellsworth Air Force Base near Rapid City, South Dakota. After separating from the Air Force, Dr. Kirkham completed a two year residency in pediatric dentistry at the Children's Hospital in Denver. He is an avid cyclist and competes in triathlons. Dr. Kirkham and his wife, Deanna, enjoy Colorado's outdoor activities with their four children.

 

Dr. Jeffrey Kahl

A native of Windsor, Colorado, Dr. Kahl earned his bachelor's degree at Colorado State University and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at CU. He practiced at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland and at the Naval Air Weapons Station in China Lake, California, but remained interested in pediatric dentistry ever since he and other students got the chance to work at dental clinics in Romania. After separating from the Navy, he completed a two year residency in pediatric dentistry at the Children's Hospital in Denver where he still works as a part time faculty member. Dr. Kahl, his wife, Carrie, daughter, Kaylee, and son, Preston, enjoy hiking and camping in the Colorado mountains.

 

Dr. Tyler Driggers

Dr. Driggers grew up in Marietta, Georgia and moved to Colorado after playing college basketball and completing his undergraduate degree at Brown University. He then moved to Omaha, Nebraska, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery at Creighton University. After dental school, he remained in Omaha for one year and completed a general practice residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Realizing that his professional passion was treating children and patients with special healthcare needs, he decided to pursue pediatric dentistry specialty training at the University of Iowa. He and his wife then decided to move back to Colorado to raise their family. Dr. Driggers enjoys fly fishing and spending time with his wife and four children in his spare time.


Dr. Matt Brady

Dr. Matthew Brady is a graduate from California Polytechnic State University with a BS in biochemistry. He completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery at Case Western Reserve School of Dental Medicine, where he received the Dean’s award for his presentation on Child Abuse Awareness and recognition in the Dental Office. Dr. Brady received his commission in the US Navy and went on to complete an Advance Education in General Dentistry. While serving in Naples, Italy he was chosen by the Navy to train in pediatric dentistry at Children’s Hospital Colorado. Shortly thereafter, he received the status of Diplomate in the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

After completing his residency 4 years ago, the Bradys decided to make Parker their home because of its family friendly environment. Dr. Brady and his wife of 20 years, Jessica, have five children. Preferring to spend most of their time together, the Bradys enjoy hiking, traveling and exploring locally. They are also huge Disney fans. Having had the opportunity to see many countries throughout the world, Dr. Brady has had the opportunity to practice dentistry in Italy, England, Guam and even the Federated States of Micronesia on a humanitarian mission. Dr. Brady enjoys diving and participating in long distance swimming and triathlons. You can often see him biking or running to work if there is no snow on the ground and he continues to be an active Naval reservist serving his country.
